Lets hope that this gets the go ahead and the larger stones are indeed erected.
This will help the flow of people around the circle and hopefully stop the banks from being denuded.
There is a lot still to be discovered including the sections of the kennet avenue that are still buried and the elusive termination of the Beckhampton avenue.
Even though the NT video states that Avebury had a North and Eastern avenue there is as yet no solid evidence for these.
