There are already three food outlets in the circle (and one just outside it). It’s not really a question of should another be allowed but a) is another needed, and b) if it is needed, what sort should it be. I doubt (on purely commercial grounds) that another is need but, if it is, perhaps a 'low-key' teashop would be more in keeping with the place (Avebury did once have a tea shop where the antique shop now is). Anything selling takeaway food shouldn’t be allowed for obvious reasons.

Yes I agree totally with you there LS but I doubt they'd see it that way in todays 'flog it and flee' food outlets. It's become a way of life to see youngsters walking around holding a burger in one hand, mobile phone in the other and seeing the ground beneath their feet as lifes wastebin!
