Ever get up on the Long Mynd? Some nice plateaus from which you can see as far as Merseyside on a clear day, but also lots of interesting dips and valleys, too. Also a few hill fort sites.

Not since I was 14, when a freak sledging* incident left me with five stitches in the back of my head, and the scar still there now...

Must get back out there though. And Stiperstones too.


*I say "sledging", it was in fact a fertilizer sack. Times were hard, tha knows.
