Sounds like you had a good time 4Ws!

We ended up on the Avenue Farm campsite and had a good night spent sat outside the Red Lion. Things got stranger as the night went on. Highlights included:

- Being chased by dogs while taking a midnight stroll round the edge of the enclosure. My friend, ever resourceful, used his camera flash to scare them off. This had to be done quite a few times before the owner, a crusty asleep in the undergrowth, appeared to call them off.

- Being freaked out by some guy reversing his car past us, at speed, as we walked in the total darkness to Winterbourne Monkton. He stopped a hundred yards down the road, then screamed off back in the direction he came from.

- The people in the caravan parked next to our tent playing Clannad, Enya, Enigma etc. at volume ALL NIGHT while persisting in making loud banging noises. It didn't sound like they were *at it*, more like they were building a shed.
