I once made a list of all the hillforts down in the West (its massive) put it on a dedicated hillfort forum, which then disappeared!

I'll check the diary :) Defn will try and make the effort!

Know what you mean about the hill forts, I reckon there must be easily 50 within a hours drive from my house and probably 10-15 within 20-30 mins from the house. Not to mention the 3 or 4 I can see from the driveway!

When I've done all the ones on or around the avon valley I'll stick up my notes on intervisibility & field notes on a weblog..
