A procession TO the stones at the exact auspicious moment strikes me as a much more powerful experience than just standing and jostling inside the stones for half an hour.

Sounds like there's potential for someone to take a really impressive picture in a couple of weeks time. Wonder if Jimit is listening?

That point was made by lionel Sims , you don't process (if that is what they did ) then turn around to look back where you came from .Same thing happens in a church you walk up the aisle and stay looking forward at the bloke/woman in the dress/suit .
