Unfortunatly there are accidents in and around Avebury/Silbury all the time.
Its the mix of the speed drivers go along the Beckhampton road and the traffic slowing to look at the hill/stones and the point the two very different drivers meet.
The worse place for accidents is the bends at Berwick Basset.Most days there is a car on its roof at the side of the road.
