Not to mention Geoffrey Grigson, Richard Jefferies, Paul Nash, Nikolaus Pevenser, John Piper and probably Henry Moor (Moor went to Stonehenge lots of times).

Dunno about Constable and Turner - they also went to Stonehenge so it's possible they visited Avebury as well. Must be others...
