Anywhere further than Avebury (20 miles away) is an adventure for my car so I am happy wherever it is.
Mind you I haven't been to many sites "Up North"!!!

Beltane at Thornborough's on in early May, the ultimate picnic arena as I remember.

Any excuse to travel down to Avebury suits me tho'!

After trying to find the Polisher Stone and yesterday and failing completely (I am sure I looked at every rock and stone!!), I think we should have the Megameet at Avebury so that all those in the know can take us up to Fyfield Down and show us where it is!!!
ps. It was a nice walk though and Rex didn't want to go out for the rest of the evening :o)

Like Jacksprat I've been a bit quiet recently as my landlady has gone into care so a new flat had to be found and moved into. Things are more settled now so I should be out and about!

Great to see old and new faces and to keep up to date with the gossip.
Moth,Jane, Nigel and I also got soaked walking back to the car! The group got split up at the end so "cheers" to those I didn't have a chance to say goodbye to.
