I do however find it utterly offensive that many Druids and Pagans wear antlers and furs ... as offensive as a fur coat and almost as debauched as displaying a dead child in a museum! That said the 'skeleton' at the AK Museum has always been treated with deep affection and indeed respect too ... I can't apply this logic to the cruel and senseless slaughter of animals.
Because, of course, all Pagan types are "supposed" to be vegetarian animal-rights hippies?

The most vociferous arguments about hunting I have ever seen have been between Pagans. Some do take the don't-even-eat-anything-that's-been-near-a-hamburger attitude, while others see hunting as a way of honouring the ancestors.

Many of the furs used by Pagans are only sourced from road-kill, though by no means all.

Incidentally, Can I ask what this "degenerate dead religion" is of which you speak? Not Christianity surely? That still has some life in it.

alright chaps?

just reading what you wrote about fur for garments being sourced from roadkill. Jesus man, what a miserable line of work to get into, skinning animals that you've got to peel off the tarmac

Road kill? Feckin hell! Stick a hedgehog on your head, a badger down your pants or maybe a deer ... following that line of thinking; is it OK to display the kids bones in Avebury if he/she was knocked flat be a bunch of Sarsen log rollers? All sentient Beings deserve respect. Wearing animal skins is simply and utterly aborrhent.
