Err sorry to tell you but stalls and street traders are banned under Avebury council bylaws.
However, I'm sure Richard and Tracey won't mind if you take the books to the Keiller room in the pub.
It is the Pagan moot that weekend so there will be plenty of punters around.

I've sold copies of my humble witterings from the bonnet of my car in the Silbury lay-by. In so doing I've no doubt broken local bylaws. I'll tell you this though, some of the people I've met during this 'illegal' activity changed my life forever and for the better.

Do it elsewhere? Nah. Don't do it at all? Never!

I wasn't thinking of trading. Just offering some friends and aquaintences the opportunity to see what I'm getting shot of. If they want to throw money (or other barter) my way, so much the better.

So, who's got stuff to swap? :-)
