I reckon around 10 wells within the dykes themselves.
The little culvert by the post office is for water run off from the road.
There is a capped well opposite the Red Lion which used to be in Stan Blakes house before it was destroyed.
I reckon there is a blind spring near the ditch on the left of green st as it fills with water in the winter for no reason.
