For those thinking of coming to Avebury this weekend please be aware that there is nowhere to park other than the main car park which will fill up friday.
There are concrete bollards on the verge near kennet avenue and bollards everywhere.
A huge metal fence has gone up in Trusloe and signs are placed everywhere warning that cars will be towed away.
The local farmers have blocked their EMPTY fields with large trailers.
The locals asked the National Front, sorry Trust (Ha bloody Ha) to open a field but they have refused point blank.

EH has closed the Silbury car park and are posting Guards to keep people off of Silbury.
Best advice is to park in Devizes or Calne (Avoid Marlborough as Prince Charles will be there) and bus it into Avebury.
