PAGAN PRIDE DAY UK 2003
Pagan Pride Day UK 2003 will be held at Avebury Circle on
Sunday 21 September from 4 PM through Sunset.
Events include: talks by Michael Dames, Cerridwen Dragon-Oak, Pagan Elders,
Rev. Richard Thomas, and others still unconfirmed.
There will be activities for children, acoustic musicians, demonstrations of
witch crafts, a costume competition, a charity auction, and a shared picnic
"potluck" dinner at 6PM (please bring a food item to share, and
non-breakable plates, utensils, rubbish bag, and a non-alcoholic drink).
The Autumnal Equinox Ritual will take place at Sunset!
PPD events take place in ten countries worldwide on or about the Autumnal
Equinox. PPD-UK is a "private party" for Pagans and non-Pagans to celebrate
this solar festival together and get to know each other better.
Avebury has a large carpark within easy access to the site, including access
for disabled guests. Dogs are permitted on the site on-leash only. A shop,
restaurant and public toilets are adjacent to the Avebury site.
