Surprised to see on juamei 's weblog that he couldn't see any information board about the work.

I was there the previous weekend, and certainly saw a notice outlining the (planned) work and giving some brief historical information about the Cove.

I see Pete G's web site hasn't been updated since the 17th. Does anyone have any idea what the status is now? I've they've laid the concrete I'd expect them to start dismantling the scaffold, backfilling and turfing over very soon now...

i was surprised to see that he had to pay for the car park! i was down there on tuesday & the one in the high street, opposite the post office, is still free.

The trench around the stones in The Cove has been filled.
The scaffolding will stay inplace for the next 2-3 weeks,untill it has set properly.(It's very wet and windy today,theres abit of surface water,so i wouldn't be suprized if the scaffold stays for 3weeks)

If you have a look at Petes site he has posted a link to the local news coverage from the start of the work.
