Hey guys,

Anyone visited any sites in these counties? There's lots of entries, but not much info.....

I was in Rutland the other week and decided not to bother looking for anything prehistoric. It was a combination of rain, a lack of dynamic sites and the desire to drink coffee.

it looks like you're the man for the job :)

Chris Tweed of Stones mailing list fame (http://www.henge.org.uk/) is from Leicestershire I think, might be worth dropping him a line

I am also researching lost-stones and associated ephemora in Leicestershire (see my Beeby well & Henge weblog). I would be interested to hear from you. [email protected]

There is of course 'The great Bradgate ley'; stones also around the area (Hunts hill, Antsty)etc... there is a wealth of pre-romano evidence if sought. Borough Hill is a place brim with magick, the bronze-age track (ridgemere lane) also runs a few miles NW to this.

Give us a shout me duck!!!

Has anyone recommended this yet?
