Sure did ,had to leave home at 4am ,but well worth it massive aren't they,cant see why there not more popular, the walk perhaps ,have you been to Ffridd newydd

yes it's a hill walk - a tee-shirt stroll in high summer on a nice day but otherwise a full kit + picnic job.

No circles can be seen here now. OGS Crawford ( http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/images/catalogue/ogs.jpg ) who camped out here in summer 1919 excavated and exposed the two stone circles so they did (or do under the turf) exist. OGS also did a report on the long cairns and the cairn circle (the 'lickle' Bryn Cader Faner) just up the hill. Did you see the ring cairn?

Forgive the geeky archaeo links. They have a full set of Archaeologia Cambrensis in my local library which I like to peruse on rainy days.
