The winterbourne bridge has at least 8 avenue stones under its arches.
One of the cottages in the High st has a single fallen stone as the kitchen floor.
In Brighton there is a pub on the sea front which has a massive stone as the cellar floor.

What's the name of the pub in Brighton, Pete? Will be there for a couple of days in June (Brighton that is not the pub). On second thoughts though I might be in the pub for a couple of days as well... can you see the stone from the bar?

i've been telling NT about those footbridge stones for years, i am always left with the distinct impression that they'd rather not know about them?
