Downpatrick cathedral is built next to The Mound of Down, an ancient law hill.

It's a handy source of rubble stone as well as larger bits for lintels &c. A photo-competition for the summer might be the most ludicrous re-use of a megalith in a modern period building. The Devil's Arrow that became a bridge would by high up the list (but no one's found it yet).
