Isn't it daft how there are places right on your doorstep that you never knew about. I found an excellent little walk the other day with a massive view, from looking for a spring from the OS map (it had dried up but that didn't matter then). I've been yards from there a million times. Ah and you know it's only the tip of the iceberg. Many other places await.

I see you've worked out adding the photos! I guess in the flattish lands of Lincolnshire they must really stand out. They look really cool in their straight line from overhead too

When the outlier , Bully Hill itself , also a barrow , is included it's pretty close to both summer solstice sun rise and athe horizons have similar elevations, winter solstice sunset . No intention suggested .
