A hundred years ago or five thousand, they all say "I was here".

There is a massive panel (not on TMA or listed anywhere AFAIK) with 18th and 19th Century graffiti near the King's Caves on Arran. It is half buried near one of the lesser caves. It has some much older marks too. All of it screams "I was here".

I like it.

I think it makes the world less crapulous.

I too don't mind that kind of graffiti, it's the mindless crappy stupid ones that get on my nerves, i'm sure there must be a way of distinguishing between the two, but its a bit blurry. Perhaps its the content of, or perhaps it's the time spent doing the scrawling. shrugs.

Arran eh ? time to go back there too.
