Thanks for the tips tjj. I'll make sure to follow your recommendations when I finally make the trip. I'm limited by not driving (yet) but I'll get that sorted. I'm more of a public transport/on foot type, but it would make getting to obscure places so much easier. I'm hoping to do my Maiden Castle trip soon. It was curtailed by a combination of bad weather, work commmitments, and most recently a sprained ankle. I've also been planning another trip to Glastonbury, and I'm hoping to take some nice discreet photos of the Abbey and grounds, Chalice Well, and views from the Tor. (I'm full aware of discretion and respect re. where it is and isn't appropriate to get your camera out).

I was telling Drew that I'll post them up on Flickr so I'll do a link at the Pump when the times comes. I'm also going to visit the Stones at Kealkill on my next trip to West Cork in August. One of my favourite places and I visit whenever I can. They're not far from my place, luckily:
