When I were a lad we didn't even HAVE social scales!

In Bedfordshire, we only had antisocial scales and you wouldn't have wanted to climb any of THOSE, I can tell you!

well my problem is, I'm too easterly to be a Marra and too Westerly to be a Geordie. Too southerly to be a Jock.

I don't really consider myself a pure enough Sassanach but I suppose that's the closest thing ... but if there was slang for a Reiver, that would be it
