Look on the bright side, at least they didn't nick anything which is most unusual for scousers.
That statement is as idiotic as the actions of the morons who did the damage to the site.
And before you ask, no i'm not a 'scouser'.
oh go and find yourself a sense of humour
My sense of humour is in fine fettle thank you. I just didn't enjoy your Jim Davidson style routine.
If only all Jim Davidson’s routines were as short as that. You'll have to forgive me if I don’t curtail my posts to fit with your sense of humour...each to their own I guess.
I suggest you go to a Liverpool pub and strike up conversation with your "humourous" statement. You wouldn't though, would you? But you think you can do it here?

But that statement rings true if you crack an Irish joke, but that doesn't mean they don't get told.

He made a semi-humorous comment based on a stereotype. It's the same as
"What do you call a Scouser in a suit? The defendant".

Offensive, really?

I guess we’d all agree that negative racial stereotyping is far from good thing but applying these ideas to British regional stereotypes maybe a step too far.
I work on an oil rig, on here we have people from all over our islands, here’s just some of the names I’ve heard over the past few years, woolybacks, codheads, weedgies, janners, yellowbellies, geordies, scousers, choocters, mackems, dingles, brummies, gallachs, gogs, monkey-hangers, sweaties, tykes, sassenachs, coagies.
Many of these names were originally a form of abuse and most carry certain negative attributes, but most have been adopted by their respective groups and are worn with pride. Many of the scousers I work with play-up their reputations as jolly jack-the-lad scallies and actively re-enforce the stereotype but both they and I know that it’s all bullshit, it’s just part of our working class humour. The same humour that Rich was using in his remark. It means nothing it’s just craic.
