Thanks for that fitz. In the email that Dave got from the NYMNP it says -

"Scheduled Monument Consent & an excavation to record the site will be required before it can be re-erected. The process has been started but will take a while to complete."

Two years is a fair while, I know these things move slowly but I hope they haven't just pushed the paperwork under the carpet.
