Yikes! Was that in 2006? He did spend a lot of time lying on the ground at Callanish...

Photowise, go in summer, late evenings and early mornings mean if you are prepared to outwait the tourists there will be few enough to take some decent shots. Even I managed it!

I have visted 3 times and managed to get some decent photos but August was the worst. It was bucketing with rain and full of coach loads of tourists. The best photos I took were at around 6am one sunny morning in June and I also managed some crackers when I was there in November one year; the colours of the landscpe in autumn are spectacular!

Yikes! Was that in 2006?
Yep! It wasn't diagnosed for FIVE months... meanwhile the rash got bigger and bigger.
