Gah - you should've said hi - it was a nice bunch up there! (It's only me that's a git!)

Tbh, I only posted my moonpix coz nobody else had. (Forgot to take the polarising filter off, so didn't make it easy for meself - only realised on the Friday night when I tried it with our 300mm & the pix were lighter when I was expecting them to be darker....) What a prat. Still, I did better than the lovely Kammer (hoorah! met him at last) who couldn't work out how to use his camera on manual*....

love

*Soz, K - couldn't resist!!! ;^)

You cheeky bugger!

My photos were reasonably good, even though they were taken on automatic settings. You're right though. I should read the flippin' manual, but I rarely come up against any problems (night photography not being my thing).

OK, as promised / threatened I've posted a few of my pics from the 9/10th July.

Please be aware that these were taken on a point-and-shoot compact, hand-held because I didn't fancy carrying my friend's beautifully light, but apparently VERY expensive, carbon-fibre tripod on the bike - the quality's a bit shonky, but I hope they capture the atmosphere. If anybody desperately wants to see any shots featuring the bagpiper, I can post some of those as well. ;-)

I've also stuck up three pics from my earlier trip up in March, just to prove that it does occasionally snow on Lewis. :-)
