As a lot of you seem to be visiting Kilmartin on your way to Lewis next week I thought you might find this 'off topic' info useful.

As you travel north from Kilmartin there is a small freshwater loch, just south of Oban, it runs parallel to the road, pull over and park. I watched an Osprey fish (virtually overhead) for half an hour when I was there on Wednesday.
