Have you ever seen the Mod Ant TV show? The way Julian says 'Dunadeer' (sorry about probable shit spelling) says it all!
Julian recently said to me that the Aberdeenshire RSCs are still the only group of monuments that he could predict where they'd be in the landscape (with the possible exception of the Giant's Graves on Sardinia - but he'd not seen too many at that time). Their relationship, according to him, with the landscape is very consistent.
That comment alone has made me want to see a lot more of them than I have (i.e. a few).
