From where you are Roy, it's well worth the hour or so up the A30. If you enter the moors via the right gate near Chagford, it's only a 10 minute or so walk to the circle.

We stopped off on the way down one time. It was wet on that occasion, so I need to do it again sometime in better weather...

That could be a good excuse for a meet Alan..in fact what about a Devon Minimeet possibly? Thoughts anyone. I go to Moretonhampstead quite often and Chagford's only up the road from there. I'm well up for it.
