I got an email from Stubob today.

Don't know how many peeps noticed Jane's news item earlier, but unfortunately it seems that it's definitely by no means over - Stancliffe Stone now want to extend an existing quarry - still too close to the Nine Ladies & still screwing up the moor.

Protesters are asking peeps to gather on Saturday to make a human chain a mile long as a demonstration of feelings http://www.heritageaction.org/?page=theheritagejournal

It'd be good if some peeps can make it up there! (Wish I could!)
