Thanks Drew , am I right in thinking that is from the centre of the circle to centre of recumbent rather than the orientation of recumbent ?

Centre to centre and both sides. I'm fascinated by the "lump" that you mention, the circles in the northern side almost all have views of Bennachie (for them does the shape of Bennachie have any clues?), Deeside ones have Lochnagar, or basically any high point but some almost resemble the horizon e.g. Clochforbie.

But tell me what to do and it will be done!

Did anyone make their minds up about Dull?
