Are you aware of the two burials found on Dalkey Ireland, just off the Dublin coast? They were of a man and, seperately, two women. The clobber they found with them lead the excavators to believe that they could well have been Brigantes refugees fleeing from the Romans.
Dalkey ireland is tiny, but has a long history dating back to 7000bce when there was a mesolithic camp on there. It has seen many stages of habitation, but a continuous history.
