I was up at Lundin Links at the wknd, a fantastic site. I was surprised to read Burl suggest it may have been an exaggerated form of a 4 poster, hard to imagine. I've looked for further info but can't find anything more on the 18thC investigation which turned up a skull in a cist with an iron implement buried in it, or anything more on the NNE stone beyond what Burl has written and what is available on a Google search.
Anybody got access to notes of the excavation, or know if any exist?
