I've found the relevant entry in Burl's From Carnac to Callanish, 1993.
Here it is, in its entirety:

The "Grinsell, 1976, 261" bit refers to L.V.Grinsell's Folklore of Prehistoric Sites in Britain.

So, has anyone out there got this book and could they look up the relevant entry for us, please?
