great news, it was the most disappointing place i've visited in cornwall , it seemed so sad, now there's a chance to get it back up properly (it doesn't look quite right on postcard, proberly why it fell) ,it will look great from lane. great work and good luck! mulfra quoit would be great to restore, hopefully someone else down cornwall will be inspired by this and keep the ball rolling.

As for the idea of re-erecting Mulfra....shall we then go on and do Zennor and Trethevy? I don't think so...for all we know they were like that originally, I am certain the cap stone at Trethevy never would have sat on top of the other stones without the aid of earth or stones piled up around...and once that earth was stripped away the stone fell because there was so little to support it.

As for planning permission...
