Have not visited the site...It gets 3 1/2 pages in "Romance of the Stones" most of which is taken up by arguments put forward to say it is.
Also says that there are no records of any finds and that several of the stones may be the result of field clearance.

Just had an email on this from the 'Sustainable Trust':

Just to let you know that the Sustainable Trust now own Carwynnen/Pendarves Quoit.

We will be getting a geophysical survey carried out soon.

Planning and fund-raising for putting it back up will follow. We have spent our money buying it and need to get some more - so any donations gratefully received.
