I believe (from local info) that the outlier of the modern circle is actually a standing stone, once fallen, which was re-erected. Still trying to find out whether that's true or not. It does have a 'right' sort of feel about it, my mate Gus and I had a good look round there a few months ago when we were at Cairnpapple. Agree with the other thread that there's a place for 'modern' circles on here. Though no doubt if you start one you'll be accused of plagiarism!....
