Not an answer to your question as I don't know one , I think the nearest would be Langdale .Creag na Cailliche is the only axe factory I can think of in Scotland .

I haven't come across another in Scotland, but I reckon there's huge chunks of Scotland here noone's looked yet. There's some nasty hills up there :-)

I had come across a reference to Shuttleborne, so that paper is great, thanks.
