I've never heard of the "Great" Langdale Axe Factory. I'd prefer the main heading for the group to remain as "Langdale Axe Factory", with an alternative name of "Langdale Pikes", and, as you suggest, all of the current postings for Langdale Axe Factory placed under a site named "Pike of Stickle".

Baz,
>I've never heard of the "Great" Langdale Axe Factory

Pike of Stickle is in the valley of Great Langdale. Just over the ridge to the south is Little Langdale. If travelling west from Ambleside, the valley splits in two at Elterwater, with the dividing ridge being that of Lingmoor Fell. The valleys are collectively known as the Langdales, but are two distinctly different valleys.
The Fell and Rick Climbing Club rock climbing guide is called "Great Langdale", there being no rock climbs in the valley of Little Langdale.
The only Langdale in Cumbria is that just east of Tebay, amongst the Howgill fells.

TE.
