My mate does parascending - that lunatic thing with nobbut a bit o' fancy nylon to keep yer from smashing yersel' up. I'll ask him if it's possible to do a low level track over Mickleden. I doubt it, as he always says you get dangerous winds off nearby ridges, e.g. The Band over on Bow Fell, which can cause your canopy to collapse.
Worth an ask though, as the view from Loft Crag is a bit too high up to show much detail.
