A friend, who is also a musician, posted something about the Dartmoor Folk Festival on FB yesterday - he's not really a stony person but seems a bit chuffed he will be playing at the Oxenham Arms, a pub built around a 5,000 year old standing stone. (He posted this link).

Is this very unusual - or are there other buildings that incorporate standing stones? (I know there are churches around the Avebury area that have sarsen corner stones).

Tell me, tjj, how do you know its 5000 years old? I'm genuinely intruiged.
Only, everything i've read about this and the other stone tells me there is not even any evidence that they are prehistoric.
