Does anyone know what they're for?
I'm assuming that if they're relatively recent, there might be stuff written down somewhere.

Obviously, a hard nosed attitude would say that no parallels could be drawn between these potential reasons and the raisin d'etre of the older ones, but when I see the big newer ones that close to the old ones, it's tempting to think the connection runs deeper than simply proximity.
