Sdaly GE is in poor resolution for the area and I think it worth mentioning that GPS should only be treated as a guide ,the closer the stones are to another the less likely that the orientation will be accurate .
Unless you have one of those mega expensive 3mm GPS things the archaeo companies use (which I don't, by the way).

The only answer would be proper surveying with a theodolite (and I don't have one of those either).

They must have been surveyed properly for the Tipp Inventory.

When was the inventory done ?

I think the Tipp inventory was done a about 10 years ago. I don't have it with me to check. I got the impression that they didn't do a good job. Cullaun is done nicely with all the stones and their locations listed but Timoney has a brief paragraph and says something like there were too many stones to accurately count them all. There is one field that is not used for anything which is so overgrown that you would really have to go over every inch to figure out what is there. There are loads hiding in bushes as well.
