Just wanted to post something up to say the B&B mentioned in CARLs post for Ri Cruin (The Factors House, Ri Cruin) is now an amazing holiday house (there are a couple of others on site too) - http://www.ri-cruin.co.uk/. We're just back from staying there, it's got to be one of the best locations to stay if you are visiting the area - overlooks Ri Cruin cairn, and the field with the Great X in from the end of the drive. You can easily walk to all the main Glen (tourist touted) sites and the museum within about 5-20 mins of easy going lanes, etc. The owner is a gem too, very helpful and full of info, Kilmartin born and bred. Can't rec it enough if you're planning a trip that way... :-)

We stayed there! Well, when it was a B&B... The main house was all B&B and there was another part which was self-catering accommodation. Beautiful building. The owner of the B&Bwas in her 80s then - fit as a fiddle and full of fun! Hope she's still there. Her son or daughter ran the self-catering side, as I recall. I'd definately stay there again. And that tomb is summat else, isn't it? With the carvings of axes and all. Amazing. And eerie, as the sun goes down... :) Happy days!
