(on the modern map it doesn't look like the inn's still there though - bit of a shame. A megalithically named pub. could have a whole new thread (and series of days out) focussed on that topic!)

I certainly didn't see a pub there. And looking at the Old-Maps site, I was pretty much bang on where the stone is shown, but still didn't find it.

At least we know which side of the road it's supposed to be now...
