PS I'd forgotten J was in Cyprus when the Rollrights paint was done - I was already on the fone to the polis, so convincing was VJ's case - her even BEING a painter & all.... Mind you, I only have her word for it & some possibly fake photies of Cyprus to prove it!!!

Putting a stone back up is crossing an invisible line. That which is between the stone-watchers and the stone-builders. It's thirty three years since I first did that (at Nant Gwrtheyrn on the Lleyn) - and that's the side of the line I'm still on. Imagine a fallen stone circle seventy five metres across - that's just one of the items on my to-do list. There's no support from anywhere. You guys would go there and say 'which circle?'.

(I should add that I also bought, and listened to many times, FRIED).

nah... uncarved standing stones out of context are just stones.

I just got one from the garden centre instead.
