The local press have reported that the promontory fort on Sully Island (nr Cardiff) has had over 20 pits dug into it - belived to be the work of metal detectorists. It was stated that considerable damage was caused.

Considerable damage done and no doubt countless little bits of heritage secreted away to sell off at a later stage(when the furore dies down)...oh and I couldn't find a link either.....
