we are staying at holyhead prior to leaving for ireland..we would like to see trefrignath..does anyone know if there is a bus service that runs close to the site

I wouldn't have though so, it's a fairly quite road that it stands next to, IIRC.

If you're reasonably fit it's actually walkable. It's only 2km from the centre of Holyhead and that road is reasonably quiet. Great place!
