Didnt see either of the carvings, they dont stand out and I hadnt checked up to see what they looked like.
Its a good walk alright, thought it was just me!
So im thinking of seefin hill as another point of call soon, looks like a serious climb.
Im being lazy but is that any others you could suggest in and around naas, say kildare, wicklow, south dublin and carlow. Id like to go up brusselstown and spinans hill although there isnt much to see up there.
I order the Archaeological Inventories for Wicklow and Carlow so hopefully they are at home this evening (In tipp) so Im sure ill get a good few ideas from them.

Well, there's all the circles! Athgreany, Broadleas, Boleycarrigeen. Some lovely barrows around the Curragh. Seefin is amazing and not too bad a climb*. Seahan is a bitch of a climb but amazing. Further south Haroldstown and Moylisha are worth a visit.

*Actually it is!

I've not seen them either. I didn't know about them until about an hour after I'd come down! Still, a good reason to go back up one day :-)
